Caribbean Key Travel Forum

I am a single grandma who is looking to get-away for a week in the caribbean. A nice, quiet vacation to get rested. My question is what differences between the us virgin islands and british virgin island-which would be a more peaceful environment. Thank-you for your help----much appreciated Terri

Good for you going out and seeing the world! If you have done this, please disregard this email. You may want to post this in the Caribbbean and Central America forum so that you will be sure to get accurate information. You'll have to let me know how you trip turns out. This forum is a wealth of information. I used to place to gather information for my first trip to Paris, France.

I have visited both the USVI and the BVI. I have spent more time in the USVI. If you are looking for the epitome in quiet and peaceful I would suggest the BVI from what I have seen and read. But, I think that you would also be very satisfied with a week on St. John USVI. Give a look to the Westin on St. John. I don't think you could go wrong with that. Peaceful, quiet, safe and secure, no passport required for US citizens (I didn' t look to see where you are from) and everything you might want from a caribbean trip. I have traveled the caribbean both via cruises and week stays and St. John is still my favorite island.

The first poster is correct, you may get a larger response if posted in the Caribbean forum. Currently you are in the NorthAmerican>USA>Florida>Caribbean Key forum (you can see the forum listing in blue just under the tabs at the top of the page) Copy your post (highlight it and then press Cntrl and C at the same time). Take a shortcut to the Caribbean Forum by finding HOME>FORUM>NorthAmerican>USA>Florida>Caribbean Key forum and clicking on the FORUM. This will take you out to the World forum. Select Caribbean Central American forum from the drop down and click on Submit question. When you get to the box where you type your question simply click your mouse in the box and press ctrl and V at the same time.
