Indonesian Traditional Custom

Hi VTers,

I am coming back to Jakarta next april with my friends from Japan. They want to take some pictures with Indonesian traditional custom. Do you know where will have this service in Jakarta. Do Taman Mini Indonesia Indah have this service too?
I know there are some places that rent the custom, but i don't know if they have photo service or not.

2nd question, we want to go to bar or restaurant with gamelan or other indonesian music instrument live performance, any good place you know?

A fantastic restaurant is Oasis restaurant. It is without competition the best in town. It has gamelan and other traditional music. Superb service if you take the rice table.

I think every bigger Fuji or Kodak photo shop will arrange the customs for you. You can have digital photos saved on disc! Just ask around !

Indonesian Traditional Custom

As I know every sunday (Midday) in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) you can see traditional dances & gamelan. You just enter any provinces do you like.
For good traditional clothes usually traditional Salon who have wedding service, they have good clothe.
You can hire the clothe for few days & take a pic in TMII.

anyway, you said that you've spent 25 euro for the meal in there, it's meant about 300,000 rupiah? included tax & service already?

For indonesia , yes. Seen from a Belgian point of vieuw...it was more then ok. For the same quality and atmosphere it would cost a fortune in Belgium.
