Are there any flights from Santiago direct to Punta Arenas? As far as I can tell LAN only fly via Puerto Montt. Is there another airline that has direct flights?

There are only 3 companies that fly to punta arenas, LanChile, LanExpress y Sky Airline. And all do a stop on Puerto Montt. Not sure if you will find a direct fly.
I when with LAN and the stop it is not so bad, it is 30 min and you do not have to change from airplane. Regards Kelly

The plane arrive at puerto montt, leave people and pic up people. It is 30 min only, you stay at the airplane, if you are going to punta arenas you can not go down. The tiket said santiago to punta arenas, do not mention pueto montt any were. These may hepl since i not sure what one flight sector is.

If you really want to do it without stops, the only option is to take flight LA6291 of LAN leaving Santiago 9.15 arriving in Punta Arenas 12.45. All the others stop in Puerto Montt......
