Greetings from Music City.
We're heading down to Isla Holbox over Spring Break and wanted to hear anyone's recommendations for where to eat, who to hire for fishing, getting to the nearby islands, etc. Also, if you have advice on hiring a taxi to get from Cancun Airport to Chiquila, I'd love to hear it. The hotel at which we're staying has an airport pickup, but it seems much too expensive. Any advice anyone has would be much appreciated! Thank you all so much! |

I am not sure how much fun Isla Holbox can be. I have never been there but I understand that is quite small and quiet. More for getting away than for havnig fun, but it just depends on what you are looking for. Just an FYI.

Am heading for Holbox April 19th, how was your trip? Did you find fly fishing guides for cheap? Were the tarpon there? I'm dieing to hear any information and advice you can give me.

Hi - how was your trip to Holbox? Would you return? Any recommendations on accommodation? Did you happen to see Mi Capricho resort - the last one on the beach east of town? If so, did it look like a good place to stay? Was Holbox overrun with insects or anything? Any information is appreciated.
