I am going to Zermatt for part of my honeymoon in June and am trying to decide between 2 hotels; Romantik Hotel Julen and Coeur des Alpes. Please let me know if anyone has any comments or suggestions between these two hotels based on location, etc. Thanks.

I was one time at the coeur des alpes.
A wonderflul 4-Star Designer-Hotel.
Its the closest hotel to the Matterhorn.
The Hotel is a Garni. It means only breakfast available.
(There a lot of good restaurants in Zermatt)
The Design of the Hotel is great!!!
you enter the Hotel by tunnel and go up to the lobby by elevator. by mooving up to the lobby you pass the "underground-spa" wich is built in the Rock.
There is a very nice Suite available. (with matterhorn view)
But the best is if you look at the website:

About the "Romantik Hotel Julen" i have not much informations. I think half or full broad is possible.
The hotel has rooms in typical old style of the location.
And there is a 3-floor spa.

I would tell you to go coeur des alpes, its amazing. I was looking for this hotel for months and they are always booked!!!!! So hurry up and dont miss the chance.

I have looked at both of these hotels online and I am wondering why is the Coeur de Salpes better than the Julen? I would like to more info before booking for my June visit.
