Hey,How to explore SYD in only 2 days??

Hi, every body,as a result of we got cheap flight tickets to Syd from Mel, we decide to go there for only 2 days.....:>

We will arrive in Syd at 0935 the 1st morning, then go back to mel in the next day 1855.

Any good idea for us to travel this amazing city in just shortly 30 hours???

BTW, we all first time to go there..

Try catching a ferry from Circular Quay over to Manly and check out the beach. Have a beer at the Steyne.

Back in Sydney, go for a walk round the Rocks, check out the Opera House.
You can walk over the harbour Bridge for free (no need to do the bridge climb). Check out Luna Park at North Sydney.

At night, catch a train to Newtown (a couple of stops from Central). Great restaurants here. Otherwise check out Crown St or Oxford St in town for some great restaurants and bars.

Check out my Sydney page - I spent a weekend in Sydney when I was there - you can see plenty in only 2 days! I definitely recommend Taronga Zoo and a ferry across the harbour for great views of the city

First thing in the morning, get a birds-eye view from the top of the city, the Centrepoint, so you'll get a good perspective of the city. Walk around the bustling streets of Sydney and then have lunch in Chinatown. Then, get a feel of the the history in the afternoon by going to the Sydney Museum which tells the history of Sydney. In the late afternoon, take the Manly ferry and back and experience the sunset. In the evening, if you're lucky, see an event at the Opera House or if that isn't your scene, go to Darling Harbour for some great nightlife. Sydney pub scene is lively at the Rocks.

Next day, go to Bondi Beach and just laze around. Enjoy the laid-back cafes along the waterfront. Then go to Watson's Bay for a relaxing afternoon. Then back home to reality........

Enjoy Sydney!

Good advice you've given here mate. Did you mean the Museum of Sydney not far up from Circular Quay?

Try and stay in a Hotel near to George St or Darling Harbour.
This way you can take in a lot of the city centre and harbour without too much additional travelling.

You can walk from Haymarket (Chinatown) through Darling Harbour then across from Pyrmont you can walk or take the monorail across the Old Pyrmont Bridge.
You can then walk down George St around to Circular Quay and take a look at the Sydney Opera House.

Have a good stay in Sydney.
