I'm working a temp assignment in Aberdeen, first time in Europe (from the States). What kind of weather can I expect? Any advice on clothes to pack would be appreciated.

Chilly and wet. Bring a good raincoat (one that actually keeps rain out!) and a warm jumper (sweater). There's certainly no need for summer clothing, but it's also unlikely you'll see snow.

Yup, it's cold, wet and windy at the moment, but we had snow a couple of days ago, and there may be more coming!

March and April should be better, but still not warm.

Have a great visit, Aberdeen's a better spot than most realise. Jem

Thought I´d catch you on this one Jemm. Bloody hot out here still! Going into the Andes mountains today for a 3 day horse treck to an aircraft crash site...should be fun and will remind me what snow is. Ah 11 oclock...almost time for a beer by the pool! Have fun!
