I'm considering staying at the Monterey Inn at 233 North Avalon Blvd in Wilmington. I'm not expecting great lodging, just a place to sleep.
Has anybody stayed there? Any comments about the neighborhood? Thanks |

My recollection of that area is not much of a "tourist attraction." It's more of LA than Long Beach but it's close to the docks.

Cancel your reservation! This is a high crime war zone area and is NOT Long Beach. Book another room in Long Beach.
