Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Travel Forum

My friends and I are going on a rafting the trip around St. Vincent and the Grenadines I am looking for information regarding drinking water and weather there is available tap water on some of the smaller islands, like, Young Island, Petit Nevis, Pigeon Island, Balliceaux, Petit Canouan, Jameby etc. If you happen to know anything about this subject please write back, thanks very much

No problem with the drinking water on St. Vincent itself - all piped in from pure mountain rivers and readily available from taps or in bottles. Young island is 2 minutes max off the coast of St. Vincent but it is a resort and I doubt will give you access to its water supply. No tap water (indeed no taps or wells or even houses !) on Petit Nevis, Pigeon, Balliceaux, Petit Canouan, Jamesby etc. And, with the exception of Jamesby and Petit Nevis, you will find these smaller cays damn difficult to land on, noting that camping on Jamesby and the other Tobago Cays is forbidden.
