Looking for accomodation in Winnipeg first half of April.
Cable TV, hi-speed internet, microwave would be an added bonus. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

I am on hiatus and would like to get to know Winnipeg, for future decisions. I searched the web with key words like short+rental and extended+stay - just takes me to hotels. Extended stay is a big business in Vancouver, Toronto. Thank you, I appreciate your help.

You should check out the Greenwood Inn. It has everything you asked for. It is right by the airport, which is just a few minutes(well close to anyway) downtown. I'm not sure what the price is, but I could find out for you if you like. Bobbi

I called their 800#. Its slightly over my budget, but I might consider it, if other options don't work.

When we had to vacate our house for 10 days so they could refinish our floors, we were only able to find hotel rooms. Costs of rooms depend on location of course, and downtown accommodations are more expensive than others. Will you have a vehicle? I know that some of the hotels that I pass between downtown and our house have had signs posted for weekly rates.
I don't think extended stay is as big in Winnipeg.
