Dear THX,
Your best bet with 13 people is to contact Vista Villas and ask them to arrange a transport. There are vans for 15 and 30 available around the country.

I am not an authority on the guanacaste area but I would not miss the opportunity to go to Arenal and visit Tabacon Hot Springs. www.tabacon.com
While you are in that area, a trip to the waterfalls by horseback is not a bad idea. Leave REALLY early a.m. and you can fit it all in. This might be something you could discuss with the driver of your van from the airport. Going on your own in the van would be good since you have such a large group.

Seafood is great in Tamarindo! Tours and idea are up and down the street when you arrive.
Perhaps others will post something exciting.

I just came back from tamarindo this week and flew into and out of Liberia.
I used a great guy Juan who owns Tamarindo shuttle and charges $15.00 a piece and has a 13 Passenger van.
There are lots of things to do and he knows them all-how long will you be there. I can have him email you if you give me your email or call me at 408 872 2211.
He was great, responsible, and totally English speaking and reasonably priced!
