I am doing a report on New Caledonia for school and i wondered if someone would have any customs that they could share with me from New Caledonia.

One custom is the traditional meal called "Bunya". Everything is cooked in the ground wrapped in palm leaves with cocnut milk. Rocks are placed on top of the earth and it is covered in more palm leaves. It is cooked for many hours and the taste is tre bien !
