hey everybody,

i'm an american guy, 23, about to do a scandinavian tour. starting off in copenhagen on saturday (feb 12). i'm down for anything and interested in nightlife, if anyone has tips for a guy travelling alone, let me know.

What sort of nightlife are you into? Bar hopping which can include making new friends, or noisy but fun discos. Maybe a bit of a mix? :) As for bars, I like a place called Norrebro Bryghus which I haven't even included on my page yet, my visit was that recent and without a camera...Local brewery that is funnier than the Carlsberg giant.

Hmm, i did the scandic tour myself 3 years back! Check out the Hard Rock Cafe just next to Tivoli Park and in the daytime, try the Carlsberg Beer Tour - you can drink all the beer you want over there ! I enjoyed that the best..

sjalen,

since i believe your from stockholm, to tell you the types of places i enjoy, i loved EAST (the rock/hip-hop area more than the R&B side. i also liked spy bar, atleast when they played rock and not the house rapper. my preferences are rock and blues but i'll enjoy just about any type of music.

after copenhagen, i'm heading to helsinki for a few days, doing the weekend (feb 18 thru 21) in stockholm, and my last stop will be oslo.

i think you could find a few bars in the little sidestreets to the pedestrian street.
places like lades kaelder and mojo have live rock/blues.
christiania might also be an interesting place.
there are a few bars with good underground music.

hey man,

just wanted to say thanks for the tip and i'll check out some of the smaller bars off of stroget. i got here tonight and am tired from the trip but tomorrow is right around the corner and im looking forward to it. appreciate the help. thanks,
