Last minute: Need a cabin Feb 11 & Feb 12? Posted: Thu February 10, 2005 07:56 PM UTC
My hunni made reservations for a heated tent-cabin at Currey Village for the nights of February 11 and 12, as a Valentine's gift to me. However, he came down with a nasty bug two days ago and I can't imagine him being able to even deal with the drive to Yosemite, much less sleeping in a tent-cabin.
The reservations, unfortunately, are non-refundable. So we're seeing if anyone wants to go on a spur of the moment trip to Yosemite and buy our reservations?
The cost is $73.70 per night (including taxes and the fact that it has a HEATER). Plus when you get to the Yosemite Park gates, they charge $20 per car as entrance fee.
Anyone up for it? You have to send me photos too, of course. ;-)

You may want to contact the local travel office in Yosemite and ask them to post your reservation up on their board at a discount.....With people in and out of there every day there's bound to be someone who sees it and picks up the deal.
