Does anyone know about the condition of the road from Nebaj to Coban? It appears to be only about 100 km, but in Guatemala, that can be an eternity if the road isn't maintained. I will be driving a regular car.

I haven't been on it in a while but friends report that it is good dirt road, as it was 4 or 5 yrs. ago. A regular car can make it fine but I would be happyer if it was a rental. Figure on about 25mph. It's a nice drive, dry at the moment but soon to be green. Happy Trails.........Ricardo
