white water rafting

We are going to Yosemite in August and my husband would like to do some rafting but we don't know if this is available in summer. Could anyone give us any advice?

The water level in August is likely to be pretty low. Along CA140, there always seem to be kayakers along the stretch between Red Bud and Briceburg...that would be the spot to check out. During that time of year, the river is probably more suited to inner-tubing than an regular rafting trip.

i went rafting late july in 03 with a rafting outfitter by the name of zephyr rafting. you can visit their site at zrafting.com. check em out... they're good... plus you can see my trip to yosemite as well on my travelpage.
