u can find some accomodation at coast - bar, budva etc, so u will travel to matches (around 45 mins), but u'll be at the lovely montenegrin seaside! :)

As previous post said, there is a lot of accommodation on the coast in places like Budva, with frequent buses from there to Podgorica taking about 75 minutes. You should be able to get a private room for roughly 10 euro a night.
Last year there appeared to be no budget accom at all in Podgorica - it is not exactly popular with tourists, so the hotel scene is more business-oriented. But maybe somebody else knows more.

Ok, thx. But what if the game finishes at 22,00 or even later (not sure yet about the time schedule of the games), will there be any late evening buses from Podgorica back to Budva, Bar etc.?

Ah... I didn't think about that. From vague memory, I think you might well have a problem getting a bus at that time.
In Podgorica I stayed in the Hotel Europa, which was very nice, but at 45 euro for a single is probably not what you would describe as budget. It is the cheapest hotel listed in the Bradt Guide to Montenegro. There are no hostels as far as I know. The Lonely Planet Eastern Europe says that there are some private rooms, so that might be your best hope, but they give no details of how to find them. Sorry I can't help much - hopefully someone actually in Montenegro will read this and be able to add something.

I was hitchiking between montenegrin cities numerous times. So it's gonna be OK. And besides,n there will be many tourists, and supporters who will help you.
