Wld really love to go to the Gomantong Caves in Sabah. Anyone knows how to get there from Sandakan? How long is the journey? Thx

It is about a 2 hour trip from Sandakan. Best way to go is to either rent a car or take a tour. Better dont rely on public transport. The caves itself are not that nice, but faamous for its thousands birds & bats flying in and out and nesting inside the caves. The soliva used by the birds to make the nests are the famous Chinese delicacy. Expect a strong smell inside the caves.
