I was wondering if there was any big waves or any waves to surf on. I also wanted to know if anyone rents boards and surf gear on the island? Thanks!

Don't count on there being any surfing there. Surfing is not much, no rentals that I'm aware of. There are locals who do some surfing at the south point, but only during special weather. You would find out who at the volleyball court at North Beach.
I wouldn't look forward to ANY surfing on Isla...that;s not what the Caribbean is about...it's about puttin on a mask and getting in the water.
