Ilha de Fernando de Noronha Travel Forum

Hi,

I'll spend a week on Fernando in February. Can anyone give me some good advices about a cheap pousada (around 20 US$ for a single)?

I'l be travelling on my own - where can I meet people there?

I already booked my flight there - do I need any other permission in advance I know about the tax but do I need anything before I go?

Hey,first of all you have to pay at Noronha an maintenance tax,about dollars US a day.-
You ll meet people there.-
let me suggest not going to stay at families pousadas
W/out Air Conditioned, most of them smell very bad...just imagine what ????
there's no private bath....
Is an unforgetable place,but do it at the better way....

Hey,there's 2 or 3 hotels dolphin,Ze Maria and one more taht i cant remember the name at this time.-
U can get NOR thru Trip with propeller aircraft or VARIG with a Boeing 737 -the prop carry 20 paxs- B737 is a jet and carry about 120.-
Will be better make arrangements before reach Recife or Natal....the prices arise u know what i mean.... do you ?
