sandravdp and I have come up with the idea to organise a VT-Meeting at the 26th of April 2003 in the beautiful 750 years old city Haarlem. This day is packed with festivisties because there is a big flower parade arriving in Haarlem early in the evening.

Haarlem is only a stone's throw away from Amsterdam so if you happen to be in Amsterdam or the Netherlands please come to Haarlem. No I cannot come to the meeting Saturday : (. I have to work in the krasnapolsky hotel, so you can come for a cup of tea or coffee : ) and then I have a b-day party.

This actually starts to look like one of Murphy's laws.. every VT meeting planned in the Netherlands or Belgium is one i cannot attend. How do you guys do that she sighs in frustration..

Okay, more and more people are coming. I regret to hear some can't make it though... There will probably be some other meeting in the Netherlands, that you might then be able to attend.

If you are still in doubt of coming or not, it is advisable to book a room in advance anyhow and check the cancellation policy. This only applies of course if you want to stay overnight. If you do decide to come you at least have a room then. The hotels are pretty busy during the planned weekend! Check the travelogue on my Haarlem page or on the 'meetings' Haarlem page.

the ns is working at the tracks that weekend so it s half an hour extra travel time.

Many Thanks to all you folks who signed the postcard I recieved from the meeting. And many Thanks to Diana for organising it. It makes my much day happier when I get a poscard from VT friends.

I hope you all had a wonderful time. I will make an effort to go to a future Netherlands meeting as you guys seem to have so much fun. I'm off now to search for your photos now.

to beachdog i only sent you the postcard. the haarlem meeting was organized by martin_nl and sandravdp. it was a great meeting. only the weather was not great but it was dry at the flowerparade.
hope to meet another old and new friends.
now i have to work on my haarlem page and look on the pages from others.
