Charleroi Travel Forum

Hello every ine. I will arrive to airport of Charleria by Ryanair, tomorrow (24Jan) And would like to walk aroun of city. I will have just 3 hours. So, please give me any advicecs about nice place witch ican visit for 3 hours. And place where i can tesr good and cheap belgium food .
Alos, after i m going to Namur. How long way from Carl.to Namur?? and witch transport is the best to use??

Hi Galina,
Allright, to go to Namur, you will have to take a bus (Line A) from the airport to the Charleroi-Sud Train station.
From there, you will take the train to namur. It's only 30 minutes away (http://www.b-rail.be) . Namur is a small city but the things you should not miss are the Citadelle, the St-Aubain cathedral and the St-Loup church, the Place des Armes and Place du Theatre are nice too.
Although you said it was only 3 hours so, I am not sure if you can visit the Citadelle and see the rest after that.

Ooopppsss.... sorry... I got mixed up. I thought you were going to spend 3 hours in Namur...
I don't know Charleroi very welll and I am not sure if the station of Charleroi-Sud is close to town... I think it is... I recommend you check Mahieu's page for Charleroi (and the top 5 pages)
