I am doing genealogy research. I think my grandmother went to school in the town of Arrild.
Do you know how I might obtain information about this
town? Are there tourist maps for this town? Is this town near Flensborg?
There was a school she might of attended in the town
of Arrild during her gradeschool years. (she was born
Nov. 5, 1896)
Any direction on who or where I might contact to find
church records, public records, or school records would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I can see (not knowing the south of Jutland more than purely geographical), Arrild is a small village parish belonging an area called Toftlund. This all falls under Ribe Diocese. They have a vicar and registrar called Ms Neergaard Jessen whose details are:

Should be some (tourist) information out there -- Arrild is a popular holiday-house area -- I wouldn't be suprised if it had more holiday cottages than regular houses! I've always wondered how that came into existence, given the fact that it isn't really close to a beach.

Flensburg is about 40 Miles east of Arrild.
