I would like to find out if bus transportation is available and feasible from Puerto Natales to Ushuaia? We're planning a trip next December to arrive in Puetro Natales by ferry and to take a cruise out of Ushuaia to Punta Arenas (the Mare Australis). And would like to travel by bus instead of air if it's available from Puerto Natales to Ushuaia. Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

Hi There is buses that run daily from puerto natales to ushuaia (for which you may have to change buses in punta arenas) J)ust remember it is a long trip - 16 to 20 hours

We plan to arrive in Ushaia by bus about March 1 or 2, we need all information including pehaps a place to stay, how to get around, what to see. We can stay for two or three nights. Hope to hear soon because we are leaving home on Monday. Do you have a suggestion about getting from El Calafate to Ushaia by bus: for instance frequency, companies, cost, length of trip, do we need to pay the entry fee to go into Chile by bus

Your information is terrific, oh by the way your English is great, I wouldn't even know you weren't from here by the way you write. Where did you learn so good, don't tell me now because if all goes well I'll be seeing you, yes we'd love to stay with you and perhaps gain a new friend. We'll be leaving home tomorrow so I'll e-mail you or call from Argentina, probably when I get to El Calafate and make the bus or whatever arrangements.
Are the prices your mentioning in Argentine Pesoes? Do you have an idea of the price range of the busses? I think we'll try to get the bus on Mon 2/28/05 or Tues Hopefully you room will still be available for two nights. Hope to hear from you before tomorrow

I sent you an e-mail, I don't know if you received it, it was about our arrival to Ushuaia on Feb 28 on Austral Airlines at 8:10 pm, we'd like to stay with you for three nights. Can you pick us up at the airport? I'm leaving home about noon tomorrow, hope to hear from you by then.
