My family is visiting Beijing for a few days and then travelling to Qingdao. How long is bus vs train travel between Beijing and Qingdao?
Where can I find a schedule and how much does it cost? Can anyone tell me how far is the Huiquan Dynasty Hotel from the pier and the Badaguan area? My parents are elderly and can't walk more than 20 min. before resting. Or you think there is a more central 4-5 star hotel? Thanks. |

The best way to get to Qingdao from Beijing is by train. There's a very comfortable overnight train, departs from Beijing Station around 11:30pm and arrives in Qingdao at 7ish the next morning. It costs approx 240 kuai for 'first class' sleepers.
Can't help you on the hotel front. Stayed with a friend of a friend...
