I am going to puerto plata in the summer. I've been there before but stayed with family in the city. Right now I am looking at Villa Taina or Hotel Kaoba and wanted to know if anyone had information or as to how they would rate these two hotels? or if they knew of a better place to stay in that area?

Hello there,
Sorry, we don't have any information on the two hotels you mentioned, however, both my mom & I visited Puerto Plata and can highly recommend where we stayed: my mom at The Rue and I stayed at Baja Principe. Both all inclusives. Hope that helps! Enjoy your summer in the Domican! Cheers, Misha

Thanks for the reply Misha. I found info on Bahia Principe, but it did not say how far it was from cabarete. Also was not able to find any info on the Rue, maybe you could give me some contact info for them or where I could find them on the web.
