Hi, I live near Valparaiso and am putting together some minibus tours for cruise liner passengers docking at the harbour and wishing to see local sites and/or tours to Santiago. This is in demand from passengers who wish to have their own minicoach which can stop off at places like vineyards, coastal sites, Pablo Narudas house, Andes mountains, etc, etc. If anyone is interested please email me at rollsrazor@hotmail.com
I speak English and my Chilean girlfriend is bilingual so we can answer most questions about your travel arrangements when arriving here in Chile. This is a personal service and not for large groups and prices are very reasonable. Happy cruising.

We (my husband & I) would like to know more about your service...we are arriving in Valpariso on 3/13/05 and are interested in a day or two in Santiago & Vina del Mar. We also need to find out how (bus or train) to travel to Buenas Aires and how long a trip might take or how frequently busses, trains travel. We appreciate your help. (We will have already visited Chilean Fjords, Puerto Chacabuco & Puerto Montt)

We are arriving on a cruise in Valparaiso and need transportation for four people with luggage to a hotel in center of Santiago. can you provide it and how much would it be?.

This is only marginally related but can you tell me anything about Ritoque Beach and Quintero? I will be coming in from a cruise in January, have seen Valparaiso, Neruda's house and spent a few days in Santiago recently. Looking for something a little different. Will anything be happening in Vina mid January? Couldn't get reasonably priced stays there. Thank you.

Hi, Vina will be very busy in January. It's the Chilean equivalent to Copacabana. All Chileans take holidays in Jan and Feb and turn up in Vina to their holiday homes in droves. Quintero is a harbour area with a small beach and rocky but walkable and pretty coastline about 30 minutes drive from Vina. It has no real claim to fame except that the big tankers go there now as the oil storage facilty in Vina has closed. There are large sea lions living very close to the shore and tourist boats can take you to see them. The surrounding area is populated by indigenous Chilean natives almost exclusively from the poor lower class. The area is best visited during the week (quieter) and there are a couple of good fish restaurants there, also a small marina. There are other more interesting places than Quintero if you are prepared to hire a car and drive north for two hours or so by-passing Quintero. There are some fab beaches up here.

Hi, we have a problem and we think you can help us !
We arrive on 19th of march in Valparaiso with the ship Millenium (normally at 7 AM). We would like to know if you can give us a transfer from the pier till santiago de chile airport. The problem is our plane with Iberia is leaving allready at 1PM ! So we don't have much time which we regret much. (because initially our plane was at 8PM so we could have planned a trip to the wineyards...) Can you please tell us if you can offer this transfer (2 person and luggage) and at what price. We are a group of ten people arriving at Santiago airport on February 22nd and staying at the Hyatt Hotel in Santiago. We need transportation from the airport to the hotel and sightseeing tours. On February 24th we need transportation from the Hyatt to Princess cruise line in Valpairaiso with sightseeing tour. Can you help and if so can you give me prices. Thank you.
