from balice airport you can take public bus(or cab) to city centre asking for main long distance bus station, from there express bus( very frequent) to zakopane -about 2 hours trip.all tickets can be bought at the bus station.do not take train-very slow journey.have good time in zakopane

When you leave the area where you collect your luggage,go up the stairs (under the big LOT sign) to the newsagent and buy your tickets to main bus station (Krakow glowny).Leave the airport entrance and walk right to the "fence" by the road, here is the bus stop.Bus number 192 runs every 20mins or so,this is the one you need.At the main station inbetween the railway staion you will see a few buses parked up.Most of these will have signs on the front to where they go to.I have been to Zakopane twice and both times it cost 11 Zl.Should take about an hour and a half.

I'm planning to go to Zakopane in May. I'm just wondering if I take the bus from Krakow to there bringing my luggague. Do they have a luggague storage place at the Zakopane bus station? Also, do you know if there's train leaving from Zakopane to Bratislava? Thanks.

Thanks E-Diogo. So instead of taking a bus then train to Bratislava. Can I take a bus from Zakopane to Bratislava?

Hi E-Diogo, thx for the schedule.
However, do you know of any buses running towards the end of day say (4 - 5pm) from Zakopane to Poprad? I was thinking about catching a bus there to Poprad.. then stay one night there. I was thinking of going to Demanov Cave of Liberty (Liptovsky Mikulas) the next day from Poprad. Also, do you know of any accomodation places in Poprad? Thanks.
