| Huangshan | february in Huangshan Posted: Sat January 8, 2005 03:07 AM UTC
I know I am somewaht repeating a question but I would like to know if it is worth it to go to Huangshan in February. Would it be too cold and icy for my old though adventurous parents and their 24 year old daughter? Would the scenery still be worth the trip with snow and ice?
Thank you, Patsy |

The scenery at Huangshan is excellent regardless of season. Snow makes the pine trees prettier. Will it be too cold in February for you and your parents? No, I don't think so if you call yourselves adventurous.
Chinese New Year is February 9. This week long holiday significantly increases the traffic going up and down the mountain. Expect fully booked hotels and long waits for the cable car if you go to Huangshan during that particular time.
