I would therefore like to know if anyone knows of a small cheap apartment I can rent ,which is fully furnished for one week or possibly two weeks? I love Sighisoara so much, and i would like to be able to buy food and cook for myself and my partner. It gets boring eating in the same Resturants, and I prefer to cook . Hello !
I went to Sighisoara last year, and I am planning to go again this september.
I would therefore like to know if anyone knows of a small cheap apartment I can rent ,which is fully furnished for one week or possibly two weeks?
I love Sighisoara so much, and i would like to be able to buy food and cook for myself and my partner.
It gets boring eating in the same Resturants, and I prefer to cook .
If anyone has any suggestions please let us know.

You can always go there and stay at a cheap hotel / hostel (e.g. www.ibz.ro), and search for a place to stay while there. A geophysicist friend working there for a while found a convenient room for about EUR 50 a month, right in the fortress. As you probably know, there is a marketplace to the NE of the fortress, just across the DN. They have some of the best smoked ham in Transylvania on sale there every morning, as well as fresh milk and cheese (even though milk products there can never compete to those in the market place in Vatra Dornei, but anyway).
You could also try posting a message at http://www.sighisoara.com/, but, as always, it is better to just go, in order to find the best deal.
