Please reply and suggest your views for following:
1)Understand that if i were to visit Tibet from Kathamandu, Nepal , i have to join a group to onbtain special permit from a local travel agency. Incase i visit Tibet from Chengdu (China), do i have to join a group? It is said that in case i fly from any point in China to Tibet, i need to book a LandCruiser, a driver and a guide through a travel agency. Is it true? 2)Without going through a travel agency, is it possible in Lahsa to get a LandCruiser with a driver who will also act as guide for my further trip to Mt.Kailash? 3)Is the month of May suitable to visit Lahsa and Mt.Kailash, as actually i prefer Sept? 4) Any information on Mt.Kailash and Lahsa will be useful. Thank you in advance. |
