| Kanton Basel-Stadt | Home stay for Jewelry & Watch Fair 3/29-4/30 Posted: Tue December 28, 2004 01:48 AM UTC
I am coming to the Basel Jewelry & Watch Fair in the end of March 2005 through the first week of April. My 35 year old nephew will be with me---we would love to rent rooms in a house or apartment not too far from the Messeplex (Fair park) or on a convenient tram or bus line. I am 52, female, pretty well traveled, and love jazz and world music. This will be my nephew's first trip to Europe and I am hoping to stay with a nice family that speaks fair english. My french is ok for getting to the bathroom or the police (!), german non-existant, but I do ok in spanish. Any tips or help anyone might have would be greatly appreciated, along with rates.
