We just reached a thai-friend in Khao Lak a few hours ago.
The situation at the moment: 500 dead bodies found, 2000 still missing and more than 2000 injured.
No electricity and no phones.
Only mobile phones sometimes if not overloaded.

the wave destroyed nearly all bungalows from the beach up to the main-road.

The wave was 10 Meters high!
