Catemaco is only about a 3 hour bus trip from Veracruz. It is in the jungles of Los Tuxlas. Very beautiful lush jungles. Awesome people, and so so food. The best place to stay is in Nanciyaga. You can rent a rustic cabin for $75.00 a night.
