Pulau Pangkor Travel Forum

Dear Forum,

I'm interested in a week on the beach, perhaps at the Pangkor Island Beach Hotel. I would be grateful if anyone knows:
1) Of a direct way to contact the hotel (preferably website/email but phone number is also useful)
2) Of any recent feedback - I can see from this forum that there is mixed feedback as to quality, service and food, and the layout of the resort. Is the Pacific wing very out of the way?

Hi!

I stayed in Pangkor Island resort in 2001 - when it was still known as Pan Pacific resort.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay there. The resort is located in a secluded area of Pulau Pangkor with its own private beach (Pantai Puteri). The quality of service and food are good, nothing for me to complain. Take note that this is based on my experience in 2001 - things may hve changed after the re-branding of the resort. If possible, ask for the sea view wing as the hill view wing (Pacific wing?) is quite out of the way.
