Dear All,
I just had my trip back from Dublin, Ireland and now cant stop myself to plan for the next trip .... I m searching the information about New Zealand, and planning to go there around Mid Feb next year! Though still months to go but excited about the plan :) Would be appreciated if you could tell is Hinuera in South Island or North Island. Thanks so much! and Merry Christmas to all!! Jane |

It's in the North Island, about 2 hrs drive south of Auckland. Are you looking for Hobbiton??

Thanks for your reply. I saw hinuera on your website, wchich relate to The Lord of the Ring. There is lots of beautiful pics from your website, just wonder are there all from North. Hobbiton, is hobbiton in north as well? Thanks Jane

The Hobbiton movie set is at Hinuera. Yes its in the North Island. You catch the tours from the nearby town of Matamata.
