Best Way from Antwerp to Zoutelande?

Hi, in January we'll be in Antwerp for the ice sculpture exhibition. A cousin of mine lives in Zoutelande near Middelburg in the Netherlands and suggested to come and see her. We can only take off two days from work, so we'd have to make this trip in one day.
Can it be done , from Antwerp to Zoutelande and back in one day? What would be the best route? A12 to
A 58?
On the map I have there is a ferry indicated between Breskens and Vlissingen. Is this ferry operated in winter?
Or is there a train between the two cities?

Hi Christine,

The easiest way to get from Antwerp to Zoutelande is via the A12 and A58. By car you will need about 1 to 1.5 hours to get there.
The Ferry between Breskens and Vlissingen is for pedestrians and bicycles only (no cars).

From Antwerpen-Noord follow the A12 direction Haven/Bergen op Zoom.
After 19 km you cross the Belgium/Netherlands border,
follow direction Bergen op Zoom A4
At knooppunt Markiezaat 't Scheld follow the A58, E312 direction Vlissingen A58/E312
Take the Middelburg[afslag 39] exit direction Middelburg via the N254 (this includes taking a right after 0.5 km onto the Schroeweg (N254) direction Middelburg and again after 0.5 km taking the third exit at the roundabout direction Middelburg N254
After 1.9 km take a left onto Het Groene Woud (N254) direction Serooskerke.
After 150 m take a left onto the Poelendaelesingel (N288) op direction Westkapelle.
Follow the signs to Zoutelande.
