Central Hotel

Can anyone recommend a centrally located hotel in Florence (close to Duomo and usual tourist spots)?

Somewhere safe, clean, friendly, and not on a very busy road.

Miniumum 3*, and upto 140 euros per night?

My friend is going for a 25th wedding anniversary, so they want somewhere nice.

Thanks

Hiya,
I recommend hotel Annalena, I worked as receptionist in 2002-03 it is safe, clean and inside a beautiful building of last century
It is a small family business with all the comfort you need to spend a nice time

We stayed in Hotel Bonciani. It's right in the main area, a 5 minute walk to the train station and 10 minutes to the Duomo. Check it out at http://www.hotelbonciani.it/inglese/index.html

Hi Lisa,

This is a B&B and a great one! Check out the link below:

Very central location, great clean rooms , quiet, safe, and wonderful buffet breakfast. You can check the prices on the site, I'm not sure when your friends will be there and the prices change through the year.

I'll be there again for two nights in Feb. 05 and got a great price.

Good luck!
