My husband and I are moving to Switzerland in October or November of 2005. What is the availability of apartment rentals for expats? We are looking for about 175 - 200 m2. Thanks

Hello :)
I recommend using www.anzeiger.ch for finding appartments. The size you want will be expensive though, especially if you want to be close to the city center (which is actually not necessary, because of the size of Bern you can comfortably live in one of the nice suburbs and then you can even have a car..., while a car in the city is more hassle). Thank you for your prompt reply. I will look at the websight. I do prefer to near the city center, as I have chosen not to drive while we are in Europe.

You can also check out www.immostreet.ch. I don't know if you read German, the ads will be in German, but you can see the prices and the pictures in any case. When you look at the ads, in Switzerland they usually give the total number of rooms including the living room, so a 4-room apartment is not a 4-bedroom apartment.
Good luck!
