I'm thinking of doing a family trip to Bali this February. First, I was wondering if that's an okay time of year to visit. Is the weather okay?
Also, I was wondering if anybody can offer any suggestions for things to do or places to stay that are good/fun/safe for my two-year old daughter. Any advice would be appreciated! Cheers! Jason |

February is monsoon season in Bali. My wife went in February and it rained every day, but only for a couple of hours a day. Shouldn't spoil the trip.
Not sure about activites for 2 year old. I don't have any children yet myself. There is a nightly shadow puppet show in Ubud that she may find enjoyable. Feel free to look at my Bali VT page for other suggestions.

Februari is still rainy season in Bali. As i know the best time to visit is mid year on dry season.
I don't know what kind of place or activities you interest in. If you interest to see 1.the view : beach, rice fields, river, lake or mountains. 2. Culture : Ceremonial, Pura, dance 3. Activities : diving, hiking, cycling, rafting, snorkling or night life. Maybe it's good if you make schedule first & decided what's the most interest you like to do. Have a nice vac, Rini

Bali in February is towards the end of the rainy season, to me I think it's the perfect time to go, not to hot and it generally only rains for an hour or so late in the afternoon on early in the morning.
Here's a website that will give you some ideas of places to stay and things to do for famiies. Have fun ;-)

the balinese ADORE children.. so expect to get lots of attention, and have instant babysitters and entertainment for your little one where ever you go!
