Preparing to leave for this most beautiful part of Indonesia, I noticed that VT's Maluku forum was still empty! Am I the only one interested in these gorgeous islands??? Hello I have been travelling indonesia esspecially for diving in the last years but never made it to maluku because there always have been warnings. can you tell me more about it ant if the flights to ambon are without any problems do you know about diving in the area and if july, august is a good time to go there? thanks a lot robert
Flights are no problem,and while the season yoy picked is not the best, you could still go. For contacts of dive operators, check your guidebooks - I certainly don't keep in touch with any!
can i just know, how is the trip and how to get on to babar islands. i had been looking at this trip for a very long time and thinking on leaving early next year. please do give me some tips if you have any.

you are absolutely real guru as far as Maluku. I do want to get there at the beginning of November. But my main purpose is diving. I can't find any dive shop except one (www.unexploredadventures.com) in Ambon. Unfortunately their emails seems to be broken - it is no way to send email to them. Thus I would need your help. I'd like to be sure to find facilities for diving there. Otherwise it would be pretty stupid to cross the half of the world for diving in divers paradise and not to dive at all..:) Can you tell me sth about that?
