Brazil-Portugal comparison

Hi,
I've traveled to Rio de Janeiro a couple of times, and I love it, the Brazilian culture, language, etc. I've studied Brazilian portuguese and I'd love to live there some day, but I've decided to study abroad in Coimbra, Portugal, since there will be the opportunity to travel all across Europe. I was wondering how the culture, living, nightlife, food, and women compare between Brazil and Portugal. I think Brazilain women are beautiful, and I was wondering if Portuguese women generally take care of themselves as much as Brazilian, hehe I'm a 20 year old college student of course I'd wonder about this. Thanks.

hi,
Portuguese women have nothing to do with the brazilian ones...you have to understand something, in Brasil the weather is always hot..so, they go around half naked..lol Everything is different, after all, it's a different continent! we are much more conservative..in a good way...about the beauty subject, there are beautifull people all over the world, the brazilian are not special, they just show more skin..Now, seriously, Coimbra...you could not have chosen better place to study..Coimbra is the students paradise, it has a fantastic nightlife, some of the best universities in the country, etc, etc..Portugal has a rich culture..it is an "old" country, full of history, many, many years of history, battles, conquers, castels...brazil has only 500 years..

Coimbra was the best choice you could have... The university of Coimbra, along with Salamanca, Sorbonne, Bologna, Oxford and Cambridge, is one of the oldest universities in the world...
About portuguese women... hmm... You can't compare them to brazilians, it's a totally different country... and portuguese women take care of themselves much more than the brazilians... and if you wanna have luck... you must take care of yourself too :)

Cheers!!
