Hi,
I've spent a week at Holbox in August 2001 and I loved it. The only thing I didn't like were the huge amounts of mosquitos that appeared in the evening. I want to go to Yuactan in January and maybe also to Holbox. My question: are there always many mosquitos at Holbox and if not, is January a good month to go there? Thanks, Niek |

January is WAY better! I have been there early January and the bugs were (compared to my other times there) almost non-existent. Note I say ALMOST. Deet works wonders!
