In August, we did make our trip to the Avalon peninsula. Probably the best thing that happened to us was that our car broke down. Then we met people. They were some of the nicest people I have ever met. We are trying to plan another trip for next summer. This year (Aug, 2004), we stayed at Comerford's in Holyrood. It was just fine..clean and the owners were friendly. We would entertain staying there again, but might like to be a bit closer to St. John's for nightlife. There are moose out at night and we saw a HUGE one our first night there...so closer to our nightlife destination would be better.
Has anyone ever stayed at The Greenwood Hotel and Lodge in Mt. Pearl? |
