I'd like to know the impression on yanji to those who's been there!

Write to VT member Hailun, she was in the province where Yanji is at least.

i've been there when i was a child. don't remember much.not a place for sightseeing. but the lifestyle and the food flavor is more like Korea.

I went to Yanji this summer.
It is small and clean.There is a river running across the city and mountains nearby.
Korean style food is hot,but delicious.
If you visit Yanbian University,perhaps,you will be lucky enough to meet some students from your country.

By what mode of transport you get to Yanji from Jilin city?

I went there from Harbin by train last year.

Hi! Rupert Lee and Thank you for the reply. You are a true blue Chinaman (meaning 100% Chinese). I say this is because I am also Chinese but from Malaysia. So I am called Malaysian Chinese (so I am half Chinese, Haha!). You have travelled much within China - your country. Would you be able to tell me if there is a train service from Shanghai to Jilin and on to Yanji or any alternative either from Shanghai to Changchun to Jilin on to Yanji. I ask as you have worked in Shanghai before. If there is how long does it take to reach Jilin/Yanji.Your reply would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
