| Assisi | Rail Station Question Posted: Sat November 20, 2004 11:42 PM UTC
We will be travelling from Rome to Florence via rail and were considering stopping off for a day in Assisi. Does anyone know if there is place to stow luggage at the train station? Thank you in advance for your reply.

if you are going to spend just one day in assisi. you might be able to send most or half your luggage on to florence the day you leave rome and pick it up when you get to florence. there will be a charge. but it was very very small the last time i did this.

There was an area set aside for luggage storage BUT it did not seem secure because people could walk in and out.
