I am writing because there is someone in Kazan, russia who's in love with me. Now, I love this person and yet I still have doubts. He says he lives on Amirhani, or Amirkhani Stret. That's his post address supposedly. I just don't want to have feelings for someone who may not be who they say they are, or just beout scamming people for money. Any advice???

Even if these people are genuine are you sure they really love you. Russia is a very poor country and many young people want to leave.

I thing you have not been to poor countries, and you have not been to Russia. Come and see, talk to people, never rely on west mass media in Russian question it is all a fake.

People in the west know almost nothing about the country and scammers use it widely.

Pablos You are right there people do not know about Russia and its people. I do think too, that people should not internet date people from other countries, espeailly from poor countries. I do no why they do it, but because of this peple do scam

Well it seems to me that nobody knows all the details for setting up a trip to Kazan....I have talked with 2 travel agencies and gotten different information.....The prices are unbelievably different! I also checked on line agencies for flight prices. Their flights start at about 200 dollars and go up to about 6-7 thousand dollars! Incredible. I guess the best question to begin with is what should I expect to pay for flight/hotel for a 1 week trip from Los Angeles to Kazan....And then , Visa: I am told that I cannot get my Visa regestered in Kazan unless I book with a Travel Agency based in Kazan. I am also told that I must leave my passport with the hotel while staying in Kazan , but I also must carry it wtih me at all times to present to police on demand.....lots of mixed information.....I have more.....

Sorry, pal, but I do not believe you... "Their flights start at about 200 dollars and go up to about 6-7 thousand dollars!" - there are not so many transport companies that could carry you to Kazan'. Tickets have fixed price and only two classes exist. So, why you all want to find some best way around and not go to ticket office for tickets? ;-((((((((
