I am a Mechanical Engineer in Indian Railways and have to travel sometime in December to Jinxi (apparently somewhere near Shenyang) and also to Taiyuan. My flight will land at Shanghai. Kindly guide me as to the best way to travel to these two locations. My wife will be with me. Any guidance will be welcome. PLease use my personal e-mail rakesh_misra@hotmail.com

flights from shanghai to this region are much more expensive than from beijing, so if you can swith your flight to beijing and fly on from there you will save quite a bit of cash. On the other had you probably ned to finish your journey by rail , so pick an airport in a city that connects. like india rqail is extensive and you will be surprised by how long it takes to get around.
