Hi all...

I'm planning to go to Wellington with a friend of mine around Jan 3-18, 2005. We'd like to rent a studio apartment for about 1 or 2 weeks with great view of the harbour, preferably Oriental Bay area. Would appreciate if anyone can advise where I should look to (website etc) or if you know anyone that would let their apartment for that time?

Also, if anyone would advise what should we do in Wellington for 2 weeks? What beach should we go to if we just want to laze around, preferably one without the cold wind.

Don't come to Wellington for a laze on the beach - the wind won't allow it and the beaches are lousy. The best looking beach in town has been made with sand from elsewhere and has to be topped up at regular intervals as it blows away!
