My question is similar to another one posted about where to go for a honeymoon road Trip. We live in Pennsylvania and have not seen much of the US at all. We will probably only have about 7-10 days for our trip which will be in September.
I'm asking for suggestions on which direction we should set off in. Obviously for the amount of time we have we won't be settin off to California, but we are interested in heading west as far as we can go in the time we have.
But, if you have suggestions on whether we should go north or south instead because of the shorter time period please let me know.
Like I said, neither of us have soon much of the US, so suggestion on must sees would be very helpful!
Also if you know of any websites where we could plan a trip that would be great too.
Honeymoon, a time for a couple to say hello to each other with the beauty of the earth to caress you. My idea for a road trip honeymoon from Troy would be to head East to Cape Cod. Beautiful accommodations, great restaurants, secluded beaches, fantastic scenery. The drive is about 8 hours long to the Cape but once there the pace slows down. Plymouth to P-town and points inbetween are wonderful for when you do get out and about. Who ever said "go West, young man" didn't mean honeymooners. Have fun.
I have been on tons of road trips. I think they are on right path.I would head towards Maine or Connecticut. Maybe spend 2 days in Manhattan. But your on your honeymoon,so have more fun at sites than driving time!
